About KimBERLEE
Kimberlee completed her undergraduate studies in Criminal Justice and Forensic Technology. Recognizing her passion for the intricate workings of the legal system, she pursued a Master of Legal Studies degree with an emphasis in Criminal Law. In August 2023, she graduated With Distinction.

With an insatiable curiosity and a keen eye for detail, Kimberlee served the community and criminal justice system during her 23-year career as a Crime Scene Investigator. She has meticulously worked a diverse assortment of cases ranging from minor offenses to complex and high-profile crimes.
​
During her career, she worked as a Forensic Supervisor for three law enforcement agencies – of which one was an accredited crime lab. In this capacity, she not only conducted crime scene investigations, but also mentored and trained a team of Forensic Specialists, imparting her wealth of knowledge and ensuring the highest standards of forensic procedures and practices.

As a California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) instructor, Kimberlee has trained over 1,400 law enforcement personnel in basic and advanced crime scene investigation techniques. She co-designed a Crime Scene Investigation Certificate Program and has instructed over 450 students. Her commitment to mentor students after the program has assisted in students obtaining their dream job as a crime scene investigator.

Class A Commendation for Case of the Year
Reviewed physical evidence from 20-year-old cold case homicide. Reanalyzed latent prints from the crime scene and identified suspect.
